The Vuelta is on a rest day today, so I actually have time for some other news:

Equipment changes continue:
- Roadcycling.com reports that Silence Lotto will be riding Canyon bikes next year
- Felt will continue to supply bikes to Garmin Chipotle through 2011
- Milram will be riding bikes from the small UK company Focus. Their bikes are made in Germany and have previously only been available through the web.
As reported earlier today, Carlos Sastre will ride for the new Cervelo Test Team
Lance Armstrong is on the cover of the October Men’s Journal and says he “never got any complaints.”

Bradley Wiggins will be moving from the Columbia team to Garmin Chipotle for 2009
Ivan Basso is looking forward to returning to the pro peloton on October 24th and pledges to be around for a long, long time. The first event he could do would be the Firenze-Pistoia in Italy on October 27th.
There’s only one day left at the Tour of Germany. Stéphane Augé (Cofidis) won today, but no change in the overall, with Columbia’s Linus Gerdemann holding on to his 17-second lead.
