News Flash: Tom Boonen in car crash

Tom Boonen was involved in a car crash while driving to the Brussels airport. He crashed into a tree, but as best as I can determine, there was only damage to his car.

Sounds like he was dodging a trolleys and lost control of the car.

As we know, he has had some car troubles before. He was caught speeding in his Lamborghini in April and as recently as June, driving drunk and speeding. There’s no indication that drugs or alcohol were a factor in Saturday’s crash, and Boonen reportedly made it to the airport in time for his flight.
