From Gazzetta dello Sport:

The Milan Bicycle Festival will run from November 26 to 30 and will celebrate the pride of cycling through music, film and art.

The Festival will include musical evenings, art exhibitions, street events, bike polo, urban races and cyclocross races. The festival will culminate with a dance party to be held in a large parking garage that will also feature a ring for indoor cycling.

Born eight years ago out of the Anthology Film Archive in New York, the Bicycle Film Festival is an expression of an international community of cyclists, filmmakers and artists united by an intense exchange of ideas, stories and pictures. The 2008 Bicycle Film Festival Tour touches 17 cities: New York, Toronto, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Tokyo, Austin, London, Vienna, Zurich, Paris, Sydney, Melbourne, Milan and Portland.

Brendt Barbur, founder and director of the BFF says, “The cyclist is an urban icons of our day: agile, light, quiet, post-oil. When among many years look at urban culture of our decade, you will see that the movement of cyclists is one of the most distinctive of the beginning century. “
