  • Carlos Sastre will be trying for the podium at the Giro. He notes that he feels respected and loved in his new position with the Cervelo Test Team, something he did not feel with CSC. • Iljo Keisse’s usual six day partner Robert Bartko finds Keisse’s positive test incomprehensible. Keisse has already lost invitations to the Bremen and Berlin six day races. • Cadel Evans is yet another cyclist planning to duel with Lance Armstrong at the Giro. (Sportweek.nl)
  • Cyclocross Magazine suspects that the 2009 U.S. Cyclocross championships may take place in Oregon. Bend has submitted a bid for the race, but calls to USA Cycling were not returned. (cxmagazine.com)
