Newsflash! Tom Boonen suspended.

Team QUICK STEP announces that Tom Boonen has been suspended from all competitive activity effective immediately.
The staff is working closely with team sponsors and will continue to update the situation during the weekend evaluating eventual further action. “The test, about two weeks ago, was positive for cocaine and was carried out by the Flemish authorities,” said team media representative Alessandro Tegner.
Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Boonen has had another out of competition positive for cocaine. We’ll tell you more as more information comes in.
