Ride with a legend (and his bikes)

Trek Travel, the cyclotourist arm of the company, is offering cyclists a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet cycling legend Gary Fisher and to ride his all new bikes in and around Madison, WI and Trek Headquarters.

With the Trek/Fisher Demo crew on hand, riders will be able to  experience both road and mountain style rides, cycling scenic bike paths, quiet farm roads, and miles of trail systems around the town of Madison.

The four day ride will include an excursion to Trek Bicycle headquarters for lunch and a private tour plus the chance to hit the dirt on Jim’s Trails, a private single-track trail system designed to test ride all of Trek’s latest and greatest ideas.

In addition, you can cycle Madison’s famous Capitol City Trail, sample local cheeses, beer and wine, visit the Madison Farmer’s Market and ride the single track at Kettle Moraine State Park.

After spending their days riding in wonderful Midwestern fall weather, participants will spend their evenings in the lap of luxury at Madison’s luxurious boutique hotel, the Mansion Hill Inn. All meals and gratuities are included and riders get the knowledge, support and camaraderie of their Trek guides.

To make this ride even easier and more enjoyable, you can leave your bike and helmet at home. Of course, you’ll get to ride the newest Fisher bikes, but Trek will also provide you with a helmet, water bottles and other complimentary merchandise.
