2009 Tour de France – Stage 10 Preview
The 2009 Tour de France returns on Tuesday. The 194.5 km stage from Limoges to Issoudun heads to the center of France, and it will give the sprinters an opportunity to show off their skills again.
We can certainly expect to see a battle between Mark Cavendish and Thor Hushovd. Hushovd took over the green jersey over the weekend and Cavendish will be looking to take it back. Cavendish has set the goal of finishing in green and will take whatever opportunity presents itself.
Tuesday is Bastille Day in France and the home teams and riders will certainly be looking to fly the French colors as well. There have been 3 French winners in the past three days and national pride may bouy yet another French rider to victory. Will we see a repeat win by upstart Brice Feillu?
