SRM Announces New Products for 2010 to be Launched at InterBike
SRM will be launching 2 new products for 2010 at Interbike. Included in the launch are the new PowerControl 7 and a long-awaited PowerMeter compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace 7900™ cranks.
PowerControl 7
The PowerControl 7 is smaller than earlier PowerControl models and is housed in a case that is oriented so that it can fit between aero bars for time trial and triathlon competitors. Team Columbia-HTC rode with the fist prototypes during the final week of the 2009 Tour de France. Mark Cavendish’s spectacular victory in the final stage on the Champs Elysees was the first big victory for the PC7.
PC7 New features:
- Smaller housing width 2.44” (62 mm), length 2.56” (65mm), height .8” (20 mm)
- Mini-USB plug compatible with standard chargers and download cables
- Rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery with 120 hours ride-time.
- Built-in motion sensor to automatically turn on when start riding.
- Compatible with all SRM Wireless PowerMeters.
- Supports ANT™ and ANT+Sport™ devices.
Shimano Dura-Ace 7900™ Compatible PowerMeter
- Compatible with Shimano DA-7900™ Chainrings and DA 7900™ group.
- Available with 165-180mm Dura-Ace 7800™ cranks arms* (*pending availability from Shimano).
- Compatible with FC-7800™ and FC-7900™ bottom brackets.
- Compatible with Shimano Di2™ shifting components.
