Over the past year, Universal Sports has proven itself as the best place to watch cycling on TV.

Recently, the network learned that they were being dropped from DirectTV’s channel lineup. They are asking cycling fans to call the company at 1-800-DirecTV or to contact them by e-mail, Twitter, Facebook or other avenues to get them to bring back Universal Sports.

All of your favorite cycling events such as the the Tour of California, the Giro and the Vuelta will still be available online, but there’s nothing like watching a race on a large screen.
