Nelson Vails on the track

In today’s news, Nelson Vails and BMX get a shout out from the Hall of Fame, on top of ‘cross rankings, Rhenen unhappy with Giro route and more:

  • I’m equally excited to see that Nelson Vails and Clayton Johns are being inducted into the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame. I saw Vails race at the Pan Am Games when they were in years ago and he was, quite simply, a force of nature. Johns may be less known to the road racing community, but he has been fundamentally involved in the growth of BMX racing in the country.
