Interbike Vendor Spotlight: Shebeest

October 28th, 2009 by Ron Callahan View Comments

There seemed to be a number of overriding themes this year at Interbike. One was cyclocross and another was compression, but this also seemed to be “The Year of the Woman”. Shebeest is the first female oriented company that we talked to, but it certainly wasn’t the last.

Shebeest Strada Crest jersey

One of Sheebeest’s premier products is their Strada Crest Seamless Jersey. It is cut to be close to the body, but is designed without seams for comfort. The jersey also features an elastic free hem, a 13 inch invisible zip and a zippered rear pocket to keep your essentials secure.

Shebeest S-Pro Short

Also new from Shebeest is the S-Pro Short. It features CompressTech (there’s that word again) fabric that uses advanced micro fiber technology. The largest fibers are next to the skin for pulling moisture away, yet fine fibers are right at the surface for a silky feel.

The S-Pro short also features Sheebeest’s new Shelastic chamois that is customer designed to lift pressure off of sensitive areas. The chamois is also cut wide to keep stitching far from sensitive areas, ensuring a smooth fit. It features variable thickness and density for maximum comfort and its microfiber facing dries quickly to help prevent bacterial buildup. The shorts have a 7 inch inseam, silicon leg grippers and an integrated mesh pocket for keys or a cellphone.
