Skil-Shimano expresses surprise at Beppu’s exit
The management of the Skil-Shimano team expressed today that they were surprised by the news that Fumiyuki Beppu seems to have signed a contract for 2010 with Lance Armstrong’s Radio Shack Cycling Team.
The 26 year old Japanese rider, who has been part of the Skil-Shimano team since 2008, recently signed a new contract with the team manager Iwan Spekenbrink through the end of 2010. “We are verifying the facts with the people involved to get this situation clear”, says Spekenbrink. “For now we assume that Beppu will be in our team next season.”
