Kirsten Wild successfully defends Qatar title
Kirsten Wild (Cervelo Test Team) has successfully defended her title at the 2nd edition of the Ladies Tour of Qatar. The Dutch rider won Friday’s third and final stage to bump Giorgia Bronzini of the Italian National Team out of the top position.
Wild came out on top after today’s 94 kilometer stage from Sealine Beach Resort to Doha Corniche in a mass sprint ahead of Bronzini and Lauren Tamayo of the U.S. national team. Wild’s margin of victory over Bronzini was only 4 seconds. Leleivyte Rasa (Safi-Pasta) completed the final podium.
