2010 Vuelta a Andalucia: Stage 4 Results

Alex Rasmussen won Wednesday’s fourth stage of the Tour of Andalucia. The Danish rider for Saxo Bank was the quickest in a time trial over 10.9 kilometers in and around Malaga. Michael Rogers takes the overall lead in the standings.

Rasmussen came in five seconds ahead of Britain’s Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky) for five seconds and seven seconds over German Tony Martin (HTC-Columbia).

Rogers finished fourth, close enough to knock Spaniard Sergio Pardilla (Carmiooro-NGC) out of first place.

Going into Thursday’s 5th and final stage, Rogers leads Belgian Jurgen Van den Broeck (Omega Pharma-Lotto) by 19 seconds and he has 30 seconds over Pardilla.
