Ride with Dave Zabriskie at “The Ultimate Challenge”
The organizers of the Tour of Utah announced “The Ultimate Challenge” today, a Gran Fondo style ride that starts in Park City and finishes at the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort.
The ride is described as “America’s toughest one-day cycling adventure,” and will pit amateur cyclists to a 96 mile ride covering nearly 11,000 feet of climbing.
The Tour of Utah will co-host the Challenge along with Dave Zabriskie, Utah native and the third American ever to wear the yellow jersey in the Tour de France. Zabriskie committed to the ride to help promote Yield to Life, a non-profit organization he founded to form road safety awareness campaigns and educational programs for cyclists and motorists that promote a safe cycling environment and their mutual respect and understanding.
