22 teams announced for 2010 Giro d’Italia
Giro d’Italia organizers RCS Sport announced the 22 teams that have received invitations to the 2010 edition the Giro d’Italia.
Contrary to much of the press this morning, Lance Armstrong’s Radio Shack team did not get denied a spot by race management. Indeed, they never submitted an application, deciding instead to focus their efforts on the Tour of California.
The 2010 edition of the race will run from May 8th to 30th.

There will be a technical meeting for all invited teams on Monday, March 29th. By the start of that meeting, each team must submit a provisional roster of 15 riders from which the final 9 riders will be selected.
