Teams and Riders for the Tour of California

Amgen Tour of California Stage 8

Yes, we’re right in the middle of Grand Tour season with the Giro d’ Italia, but let’s not forget that the Tour of California starts this week as well. Race organizer has announced the provisional list of teams and riders.

, now riding under colors, will return to defend his 2009 title while his teammate will be using the race for some Tour de France preparation.

Many riders not selected for the Giro are here. Look for Mark Cavendish and Tom Boonen to be battling for sprint wins.
