Contador to retire if ban holds
October 3rd, 2010 by Ron Callahan 4 Comments
Alberto Contador said he planned to end his career if a penalty was pronounced against him.
“If all this does not end in a favorable and fair way, I am very reluctant to go back on a bike,” Contador said Saturday night during an interview with Spanish broadcaster Telecinco. But the three-time winner of the Tour de France is, for now, “very confident. I think it will be finished well.”
