Liquigas – Cannondale shows off 2012 kit, Basso confirms Giro participation
Liquigas – Cannondale held their team presentation today and showed off their new kit for 2012. The white, green and blue color scheme of 2011 carries through to the new year. The team will ride the Cannondale Super Six Evo Team with SRAM RED components this year as well.
At the presentation, team leader Ivan Basso confirmed he will go for a third Giro d’Italia title this year. Basso focused his efforts on the Tour de France in 2011, but this year calls the Giro “the big aim for the first part of the season.”
Basso’s teammate Vincenzo Nibali will concentrate on the Tour but also may ride the Giro to help support Basso.
