Team Type 1-Sanofi General Manager Vassili Davidenko said a strong squad is set to go to the front on Saturday and fight throughout the weekend.
“Last year we had two top-20 finishes at Paris-Bruxelles, we won the Best Team Classification at GP Fourmies, and the core of this squad was at the finish both days. We’re bringing a very talented line up, with Bazzana and Kocjan on excellent form for the final kilometers into Bruxelles, while Bodrogi and Bertogliati have the legs and experience to deal with what will be a technically challenging race on Sunday,” Davidenko said.
Team Type 1-Sanofi CEO and Co-Founder Phil Southerland said continued diabetes outreach in France is reinforced by the squad’s repeat appearance at the two races.
“France is our most visited country this year, second to none. For this we owe a great deal of thanks to Sanofi for their patronage and partnership. Each event we attend we find more and more old friends, people who have seen us at races throughout the season, diabetes patients who have visited one of our evening symposiums, or just cycling fans who know and support us. For this we are extremely thankful and especially grateful,” Southerland said.
