The penultimate stage of the 2012 Vuelta a Espana is a mountainous 170.7kms from La Faisanera to Bola del Mundo.
The stage will feature three cat-1′s and a cat’2 before the final summit finish of the Vuelta.
The final climb itself is a beast, using narrow tricky roads and averaging 12% gradient.
Contador is going to have to be very vigilant if he wishes to defend his jersey as any climb could spoil the day for the overall race leader.
