’s Italian sports director, Fabrizio Guidi was happy with the team effort and is looking forward to tomorrow’s mountain challenge:

#Takashi did a great job pushing Johnny to a perfect position on the finish line where he became aware that it’s actually possible to compete with the biggest sprinters. For sure, that will boost his determination even more. Chris was protected throughout the stage so he’s ready for the mountain stage waiting for us tomorrow,” said sports director, Fabrizio Guidi after the stage.
