On Monday, Team Saxo-Tinkoff will participate in Tour of Oman with a powerful line-up: Daniele Bennati, Matti Breschel, Alberto Contador, Jesus Hernandez, Jonas Aaen, Marko Kump, Anders Lund and Matteo Tosatto.
“Once again, we put Johnny in a really position in the finale but he chose the wrong side of the road to open up his sprint as Cavendish suddenly jumped to the other side and several other sprinters were instantly on his tail. Now, we’re looking forward to Tour of Oman where the scenery changes to a hillier kind of landscape. Apparently, this race attracts quite a few of the biggest stage race riders. Of course, none of them are probably in peak shape but it’s going to be interesting to follow them all,” said Team Saxo-Tinkoff’s Tristan Hoffman.
