OPQS to Gent-Wevelgem

Omega Pharma – Quick-Step Cycling Team has announced the selection that will take part in the 75th edition of Gent – Wevelgem on Sunday, March 24th. OPQS will be led by Mark Cavendish and Tom Boonen — the second time together in a 2013 race. Boonen won in 2012 for the third time in his career.

The Kemmelberg is a key point at both the 174km and 192km points of the 235.5km race. There are a total of 10 climbs, but there still is a chance for a bunch sprint finish, as the final climb is more than 30km from the finish.
