DAHON’s Mu Uno single speed, Clinch D10 now available at dealers

DAHON, the world’s largest manufacturer of folding bikes and category leader, has announced that its popular Mu Uno single speed and an award-winning new model — the Clinch D10 — are both now available at DAHON dealers throughout North America.

The Clinch D10, which was recognized with an iF Design Forum award at the recent Taipei Cycle Show in Taiwan, is unlike any other folding bike on the market, in both appearance and performance. It utilizes DAHON’s celebrated LockJaw hinge that integrates a strong and almost invisible folding hinge into a rigid and ergonomic frame design.

Along with an oversized handle post atop a patent-pending inverted fork post, the Clinch D10 is easily the stiffest folding bike so far. The Clinch features a carbon 451 mm wheel set, along with a 10-speed SRAM Red rear derailleur, which provides superior shifting and ride. On top of that, a universal hex tool (Datool) sits neatly stored in the handlebar including 5 & 6 hex bits to lock and unlock the LockJaw hinge. A member of Dahon’s Hi Performance lineup, the Clinch D10 is available in a gorgeous Brushed color. The Clinch D10 MSRP is $4,999. DAHON Mu Uno

A member of DAHON’s Urban Collection of folding bicycles, the Mu Uno is simple, sleep and single-speed. The Mu Uno is the minimalist’s folding bike of choice featuring a rear Shimano coaster brake and the front caliper brake.

The Mu Uno weighs in at only 24 lbs. The Mu Uno also folds easily in about 10 seconds. In its folded form, it’s held together with magnets and can be carried effortlessly. The folded dimensions are 10.2″ x 30.7″ x 25.9″ (26x78x66cm). Mu Uno’s standard features include a Dalloy Sonus Tubeset with forged lattice hinge and V-clamp technology and 20-inch aluminum double wall rims, The Mu Uno is available in the Shadow color.
