Northwave shoes recently made their debut on the feet of the LAMPRE-MERIDA team in their recent campaigns in Australia and in Argentina.
The relationship between LAMPRE-MERIDA and Northwave began in 2015 and continues in 2016 with the supply of top quality shoes and with even more exposure for Northwave, whose logo will be on the sleeves of the team jersey and on the leg of their bibshorts.
In the first races of the season, LAMPRE-MERIDA’s cyclists had already appreciated the quality of the new Northwave Extreme shoes, which are the best product for what concerns technology and appearance. In 2016, the company continued its tradition of revolutionizing standards, launching a brand-new coloration that is certainly set to shine in the pro peloton.
Their new top-range road model, the Northwave Extreme will sport the new reflective silver color, reflecting both natural and artificial light: silver does not only provide a really unique look to the shoes, but also guarantees unprecedented visibility even in low-light situations.
The Extreme ensures the best power transmission with its unidirectional carbon sole, compatible with the special NW-Speedplay adaptor to achieve the lowest stack height between foot and pedal.
The upper, designed with Northwave Biomap technology to make it compatible to every foot’s shape, is realized with a special light microfiber. The integrated heel with interior directional fiber material provides perfect stability while pushing on pedals, keeping the foot in position with no slippings, while Northwave added a further power strap to the double SLW 2 dial, in order to guarantee a more adherent and precise fit even for those with slimmer feet.
