Niner opens factory retail store

  • Ron

Niner Bicycles will be opening a Factory Retail storefront in Fort Collins as well as adding two Field Marketing positions to its growing sales and marketing infrastructure. The move helps redefine and focus the responsibilities of the sales team and provide dealers and end consumers more robust service across the US.

Previously, Niner sales reps have been wholly tasked with providing both sales and regional marketing support. With this new division of labor, the sales team will be better able to focus on servicing their existing dealers as well as explore new opportunities within their respective markets.

New Director of Sales Aaron Martin commented, “Putting more Niner assets in the field gives us the ability to be in more places more often. It’s going to let the reps concentrate on their primary sales duties, providing more support to our dealers and identifying new growth opportunities. And the stand alone demo and tech support component gives a great toolset to communicate the Niner brand.”

The two-person Field Marketing team will provide demo support and technical education to Niner dealers, as well as traveling their respective East and West territories attending both Niner-sponsored and independent consumer-oriented events. Demos are scheduled to begin in early May 2016.

In addition to the staffing additions, Niner will be opening a Factory Retail storefront in Fort Collins, CO. The storefront provides Niner an opportunity to present their products directly to riders and experiment with the tangible retail environment.

“Our Factory Store will take Niner’s customer service and product interaction with the consumer to the next level. We have a ton of knowledge and passion about what we make and this space gives us an in-person opportunity to relay our passion and knowledge to the consumer” cited Mike Gann, Niner’s President.

The physical store will focus on selling new, current model bikes and related Niner merchandise to riders in the greater Front Range communities, as well as house a fleet of current-model demo bikes for local use. Niner will continue to maintain an electronic storefront on their website will where consumers can find Niner brand items, component and small parts.
