Interbike Vendor Spotlight: Harlot
We’ve had a chance to talk with the folks at Harlot Clothing Company via e-mail (and review some of their men’s shorts), but it wasn’t until Interbike this year that we were able to meet company founder and President Jenn Steketee.
If you’re not aware of Harlot, they have a large selection of tops, bottoms, tees and accessories for both women and men. Their strength is in women’s clothing, however, and they are quite deep into the mountain bike and commuter markets. All of their items are made in the USA in small batches
We’ve received a couple of their items for review. Our able tester Kari is putting them through their paces, but until we have a full review, here are some highlights:
Georgia Jersey:
- Made of breathable, wicking 100% technical polyester
- Tough on the outside, smooth on the inside
- Elbow length raglan sleeves with notched opening
- Tagless neck for comfort
- Small star tag at side seam
- Made in USA of imported materials
Habit Short:
- Women’s unlined short for cycling/outdoor pursuits
- Stretch nylon/polyester shell offers supple, durable protection
- Water repellent finish helps keep you dry and comfortable
- 4 way stretch crotch panel provides extra mobility
- Long, loose board short cut with an easy fit over padded shorts and armor
- No pockets for streamlined look
- Zip fly, industrial snap waist tab, and belt loops
- Red embroidery on right hip
- Inseam 10 inches (for medium)
