If you don’t, you really should.
I feel fortunate that I am NOT speaking from the experience of stripping out a bolt or crushing a delicate carbon fiber part.
I picked up a torque wrench last year when I was building up my last bike. It’s nothing fancy, and I wouldn’t put a whole lot of faith in its measurements being exact, but it’s close enough.

In a recent post, I mentioned that I was starting to build a bike for my wife.
Well…. that frame didn’t work out too well. First of all, it was not the size that the seller said it was. It was scratched up far more than he said. And… the right rear dropout slot was screwed up.
