After such an awesome REDLINE CUP Series in 2009, Redline and the American Bicycle Association (along with 60-plus top Track Operators) are ready to kick it off and make 2010 even bigger and better.

Garmin-Slipstream’s Dave Zabriskie made a major achievement over the weekend, taking his first stage race victory at the Tour of Missouri. Zabriskie, who is known primarily as a time trial specialist, took over the race lead after a commanding win at Friday’s individual time trial in Sedalia.

USA Cycling sent out a news update. Here are some of the highlights:

The recent growth trends of participation in competitive cycling are continuing as USA Cycling this week exceeded 63,200 members for the 2008 season – an increase of nearly 2.7% compared to this week last year. USA Cycling finished the 2007 season with 61,564 licenses sold. Currently, mountain bike license sales are up over 2.6% while Road, Track and Cyclo-cross license sales are up nearly 3.6%.
