The Nature Valley Grand Prix will expand to include a new Friday night Uptown Criterium during its 11th annual edition, June 10-14 in Minneapolis, St. Paul and surrounding Minnesota cities.
Located in the Minneapolis Uptown neighborhood, cyclists will race around Calhoun Square on a course that comprises six tight corners and a fast, straight sprint finish.
Race promoters are marketing the new event as the headline attraction for the five-day stage race that will also include the Downtown Saint Paul Criterium in Lowertown.
