First off, the USA CRITS final, which has taken place in Las Vegas in conjunction with Interbike the last several years is no longer on the schedule. The TX TOUGH GRAND PRIX III will now serve as the Men’s Finals.

As time goes by I’m finding myself drawn to classic styles and classic fabrics. Here are some capsule review of items from Joneswares and Icebreaker.

Day 3 at the Expo at Interbike 2009 was a short day. I had about 5 appointments, then it was time to pack up my gear and head for the (never thought I’d say this) thankfully humid air of southwest Ohio.

Team Type 1 rolled onto the Annapolis, Md., City Dock early Friday morning as champions of the eight-person team division of the Race Across America (RAAM). The athletes on Team Type 1 – all of whom have Type 1 diabetes – won the non-stop, transcontinental race in record time.

The Zipp OVCX Cyclocross Tour has announced an expanded 2009 schedule with several new and “upwardly-mobile” events – including one at what some observers are already calling one of the most impressive cyclocross venues in the world: Covington Kentucky’s stunning Devou Park.

AeroCat is a relatively new bicycle manufacturer headquartered in Portland, Indiana. We’ve written about them in the past, featuring them in one of our Interbike vendor spotlights as well as product features for their mountain bike, the M450, and high-end road bike, the R750 (which BWN will be reviewing soon). The company made their public debut at Interbike in 2007 with a single road model, and they’ve since expanded their offerings to include two road bikes and a mountain bike.
