Lance Armstrong is in the running to be the Associated Press’ Athlete of the Decade. They say that his return from cancer to win the Tour de France 7 times, then to come back and stand on the podium after taking two years off “raised the bar on the definition of ‘exceptional’”.

2010 looks like it is going to shape up to be a very interesting year. The gloves are off and the battle between Alberto Contador and Lance Armstrong is ON. By now, of course we know that Lance Armstrong is heading to the new Radio Shack Cycling team, while Contador is headed to parts unknown.
