2009 Vuelta a Espana – Stage 10 Results

Simon Gerrans (Cervelo) took the win from three of his breakaway companions on the final run into Murcia. Alejandro Valverde finished safely with the peloton to hold on to the maillot oro.

2009 Vuelta a Espana – Stage 4 Results

On a rain-soaked day that was the first real day of climbing, Andre Greipel (Columbia-HTC) won the 225 km stage from Venlo to Liege that took in parts of the course for the Tour of Flanders and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. The end of the race was contested by a group of six riders that survived a huge crash in the last couple of kilometers.
