Slovenian Grega Bole (Amica Chips-Knauf) won the 89 km morning stage on day three of the Vuelta a Asturias. Bole, 23, topped the sprint ahead of Spaniard Mikel Gaztañaga Echeverria (Contentpolis-Ampo) and Italian Davide Viganò (Fuji-Servetto).
The stage was Bole’s second season victory. His first was at the GP Nobili Rubinetterie two weeks ago.
Hector Guerra (Liberty Seguros) won the afternoon’s 14.2 km individual time trial in a time of 18 minutes and 11 seconds. Samuel Sánchez (Euskaltel – Euskadi) took second, seven seconds back, with Angel Vicioso (Andalucia Cajasur) claiming …
