152 riders took to the start of today’s 214.4km stage from St-Lievens-Houtem in Belgium to Roermond in the Netherlands.  Though today’s was the longest stage of the Tour, Jaroslaw Marycz (Saxo Bank) decided it was a good day to try to attack his way to victory, launching his first of numerous moves 7kms in.  13kms later, in the peloton, Christian Knees (Milram) crashed into a stop sign and had to abandon the race to go to a local hospital for stitches.

Marcin Sapa (Lampre-Farnese Vini) won a head-to-head sprint over Travis Meyer (Garmin – Transitions) to win the final stage in the Tour of Bavaria on Sunday.

2010 Four Days of Dunkirk Stage 3 Results

Alex Rasmussen (Saxo Bank) won his second stage of the race and regained the overall race lead from Danilo Napolitano (Katusha). Napolitano came in on Rasmussen’s wheel for second while JJ Rojas (Caisse d’Epargne) nipped Rafai Chtioui (Acqua & Sapone) for third.

2010 Four Days of Dunkirk Stage 2 Results

Danilo Napolitano (Katusha) beat Juan Jose Haedo (Team Saxo Bank) and Rafaâ Chtioui (Acqua & Sapone) in a field sprint and assumed the overall race lead.

2010 Four Days of Dunkirk Stage 1 Results

lex Rasmussen (Saxo Bank) took the first stage of the Four Days of Dunkirk, besting Gerald Ciolek (Milram) and Kevin Ista (Cofidis) on the 144 km stage to Bray-Dunes.
