The fifth annual Tour of Turkey will take place from April 13 to 19, departing from Izmir and completing in the town of Antalya.
Seven Pro Tour teams are planning to attend the race: Fuji-Servetto, Lampre-NGC, Quick Step, Rabobank, Silence-Lotto, Team Katusha & Team Milram.
The race will also be contested by a number of Continental & Professional teams: Xacobeo-Galicia, Contentpolis-Ampo, Elk Haus, CSF Group-Navigare, Acqua & Sapone-Caffè Mokambo, PSK Whirlpool-Author, Barloworld-Bianchi and Vorarlberg-Corratec as well as StegComputer-Neotel, Loborika, Cycling Club Bourgas, and the German & Turkey National teams.

Bouygues Telecom and Euskaltel-Euskadi, the last two teams waiting for the renewal of their 2009 Pro Tour license, finally received their certifications from the UCI. Euskaltel-Euskadi received a 2 year license and Bouyges Telecom was approved for a year.
