Franco Marvulli of Switzerland and Juan Llaneras of Spain have moved to the lead after Day 4 of the Six of Zurich.
They are 18 points ahead of the team of Bruno Risi and Danny Stam (Swi/Ned). Alexander Aeschbach and Leif Lampater are in third.

It’s coming up on Turkey Day here in the states. It’s the “off season”, but several teams have already had get-togethers for their riders, and training camps could start as soon as early December. It won’t be long until we’re back to full blown race coverage. Here’s the headlines for now.:

And on the seventh day, he rested.
No one would have been shocked if Paolo Bettini would have decided to call it quits after his horrible crash on the first day of the Milan Six. As we now know, he cracked his helmet in half, lost consciousness and spent the night in the hospital.

Poland national champion Marcin Sapa is the latest addition to the 2009 Lampre squad (Sportwelderen.be)
Alexander Kolobnev has extended with CSC through 2010. (Sportwelderen.be)
Iljo Keiss and Robert Bartko are the leaders after the first day of the Munich Six.

Not much happening in the news today. Here’s what I found:

Despite his hard fall on Tuesday, Paolo Bettini returned to the Milan Six Day race last night. Argentine duo Walter Perez and Sebastian Donadio lead the race with 102 points. Bettini and his partner Juan Llaneras sit in 5th. (Sport.be)
