Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board Renews Presenting Sponsorship of Tour of America’s Dairyland Pro Cycling Event

Cycling promoter Midwest Cycling Series, LLC has announced that the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board will return as the presenting sponsor of the Tour of America’s Dairyland in 2010. Tentative dates of June 17-27, 2010, for the encore year of the Tour of America’s Dairyland have also been announced.

Bissel’s Pipp Keeps Yellow Overall Jersey in Tour of America’s Dairyland Stage 4

With parents in the crowd, Frank Pipp (Bissell) was second to cross the line in the Men’s Pro Race at Stage 4 of the Tour of America’s Dairyland, on Father’s Day Sunday, keeping him in the yellow cow print jersey for the second straight day.

Tour of America’s Dairyland – Stage 1 Report

Overcast skies didn’t prevent nearly 300 racers from participating in Stage 1 of the 10-day Tour of America’s Dairyland sponsored by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board. The Blue Mounds Race of the Future presented Trek kicked off the inaugural Tour of America’s Dairyland on a proposed course for the 2016 Olympics featuring a 22-mile loop throughout Blue Mounds State Park with considerable climbs.

Tour of America’s Dairyland to Feature Nine Days of Pro Women’s Racing

In its inaugural year, the Tour of America’s Dairyland presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board will come out of the gate featuring a Pro Women’s race at every venue, June 19-28.

The new, professionally-produced cycling series will host two road races and seven criteriums in eight Wisconsin cities.

Registration is now open for the inaugural Tour of America’s Dairyland, which will feature a combination of crits and road races across eight Wisconsin cities, June 19-28, 2009. The Tour of America’s Dairyland presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board will feature an attractive base of cash prizes and primes for pro and amateur men and women athletes in multiple categories.
