The first stage came down to a two man battle for the stage win between Team Fly V’s David Tanner and Trek-LIVESTRONG’s Alex Dowsett. Tanner took the stage win, but it was Dowsett who pulled on the leader’s jersey

Track Worlds Update

After qualifying second earlier today, Taylor Phinney (Boulder, Colo./Trek-Livestrong) became the first American to win back-to-back elite men’s world titles on the track, re-capturing the rainbow jersey in the 4-kilometer individual pursuit Thursday night in Denmark.
