Allan Davis takes another stage and cements his lead going into tomorrow’s final stage. Here’s how it ended up at the finish:

2 Joan Horrach Rippoll (Spa) Team Katusha
3 Martin Elmiger (Swi) AG2R La Mondiale
4 Stuart O’Grady (Aus) Saxo Bank
Travis Meyer (UniSA) was part of a three man breakaway at the start of the race and won both sprints. In the KOM, it was Jack Bobridge (UniSA) for the first round of Willunga and Mathew Lloyd (Silence-Lotto) on the second go round.

Vladimir Efimkin (Ag2r La Mondiale) and Travis Meyer (UniSA) held onto a break for most of the day, but at the end, it was Allan Davis (Quick Step) narrowly edging out Graeme Brown (Rabobank) in the final sprint. Luis Leon Sanchez (Caisse d’Epargne) took third place from local hero Stuart O’Grady (Saxo Bank).
Tomorrow is a big climbing day, and that may tip the scales in Stuart O’Rady’s favor.
