Belgian professional road bicycle racer, Philippe Gilbert, won the 157km third stage from Marbella to Malaga and took the overall lead of the 2010 Tour of Spain

Cervelo has named their team roster for the final Grand Tour of the year.

152 riders took to the start of today’s 214.4km stage from St-Lievens-Houtem in Belgium to Roermond in the Netherlands.  Though today’s was the longest stage of the Tour, Jaroslaw Marycz (Saxo Bank) decided it was a good day to try to attack his way to victory, launching his first of numerous moves 7kms in.  13kms later, in the peloton, Christian Knees (Milram) crashed into a stop sign and had to abandon the race to go to a local hospital for stitches.
