For the trail riders out there, here’s something from Interbike. Loaded Precision, makers of high end mountain bike components, announced they are releasing their new Carbon Collection. Headlining the collection, is the Napalm Carbon handlebars.

What sets these bars apart from others is how they are created. Typically, carbon bars are created using a 3 piece process where the center clamping piece is joined to two outer pieces to create the length of the bar. With the Napalm, a proprietary carbon layup process allows the bars to be formed in a single layup in one long, continuous piece. This saves weight while adding strength, as there are no joints. The 680 mm Napalm Carbon Riser Bar comes in at 114 grams with 15 degrees rise. The uni-directional carbon fiber used leaves the bar with a matte finish.

“We’re pushing the envelope on making the lightest, most durable products on the planet,” said Michael Mulder, owner of Loaded Precision, Inc. “It’s our plan to continue to be a major innovator, creating the finest products in the mountain bike industry.”
