Due to a fracture on his radius suffered during Ronde van Vlaanderen, Daniele Bennati will not participate in Sunday’s Paris-Roubaix. The replacement for Daniele Bennati in the Tinkoff-Saxo line-up is Jesper Hansen. With Matti Breschel out of the race as well, Tinkoff-Saxo is now without an obvious captain in the race:

“Of course this is a huge blow for us and we must now be considered as underdogs only. We had really hoped that Benna (Bennati) would be ready but it’s simply impossible to go through a cobbled race like this with a fracture,” says Michaelsen.
