If you are a cyclist, or any athlete for that matter, that finds it hard to find jeans that fit your athletic thighs, Beth Newell at Keirin Cut Jeans hopes you will back her KickStarter campaign.
These jeans aren’t just cut bigger all the way around, they have been specifically designed for athletes that need some extra room in their quads and glutes, but still maintain a trim waistline. Â Keirin Cut measured hundreds of athletes from around the world to make sure that these jeans would fit. After an extensive prototyping period, they are ready to launch the product line, with your help.

When you look at the jeans, there are only a few subtle clues that these jeans are something special. The straight leg, dark denim jeans  are made from an adaptive denim that provides comfort and increased mobility over standard denim. They also include specialty pocket stitching in the Keirin Cut logo, which resembles the top and down tubes, along with the fork and front wheel of a bike, stylized to into a KC. The KC logo extends to the custom buttons and rivets, and the back pocket has a unique credit card pocket built into the right rear pocket.  The jeans are also 100% manufactured in the US, and come in men’s and women‘s straight leg cuts. Men’s sizes run from 28-34, 36, 38, 40, with inseams of 34. Women’s sizes run from 24-32, with inseams of 32.
Now that you know all about them, it is time to head to their KickStarter campaign to order your pair. With in just three days, they have met their goal of $37,786, and at the time this article was published, they have over 500 backers and are working towards doubling their goal. You can back the campaign with a pledge of $1 or more. At the $299 or more mark, you get three pairs of Keirin Cut Jeans delivered in a KC branded mussette mage, and a KC t-shirt. Â They are also offering a KC cycling jersey a per at the $98 mark. You better move fast through. The early bird special of $97 for a pair of jeans is already sold out, along with the $120 option for jeans, mussette bag, and t-shirt. Delivery is expected to be February 2015.
