Brooks England announces the release of the latest addition to the expanding Cambium range – the Carbon “C13” aimed toward high end road bike users. Brooks’ Cambium saddles are made from a vulcanised natural rubber top that follows the movements of the rider for responsive control and all-day comfort. Suspended over a one-piece braided carbon frame, the C13 is light and strong for today’s performance cyclist.
The C13 utilises the same vulcanised natural rubber and organic cotton top of the Cambium line, yet weighs 150g less than the popular C15 model. This is accomplished through a continuous carbon rail that eliminates performance-resistant contact points and saves weight. The continuous rail is riveted to a Cambium top of vulcanized rubber and organic cotton for a monocoque construction offering considerable strength and flexible performance characteristics. Finished with aluminium rivets in all black, tested by over 100 riders, including cycling icon David Millar who rode his C13 over the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix, undoubtedly one of the greatest challenges any racing saddle might face.
