Frog Bikes, the UK brand that focuses solely on quality made kids bikes, has a few new models launching at Eurobike and Interbike this year.
Frog’s philosophy is that kids bike shouldn’t be heavy, cheap, disposable bikes. Lighter bikes that are specifically designed for kids are easier to learn on and more fun to ride. Whether they are handed down to their younger siblings, or find a new home with a new family, Frog Bikes are built to be enjoyed and last.
The new models are targeted at older kids, 13+, with a minimum inside leg measurement of 31″.
The new hybrid, the Frog 78, is a 26″ hybrid bike meant as a multi purpose bike. Highlights include Tektro easy reach brake levers, Shimano rapid fire 8-speed shifter and drivetrain, and patented Frog cranks for easier pedaling. The quick release seat post makes for easy and fast seat height adjustments. The Frog 78 comes with two sets of tires, hybrid and off-road, to add versatility to the bike.

On the mountain bike side, there are three new bikes that are tailored to a junior rider.
The MTB62 is a 24″ mountain bike targeted at 8-10-year-olds with a minimum inside leg measurement of 24″. The air suspension fork with lockout and dampening control is tuned for kids. Easy to reach hydraulic disc brakes are paired with a Shimano rapid-fire 9 speed shifter on a lightweight handlebar and stem. Also included are the patented Frog cranks, quick release seat post, and Kenda MTB tires.

The MTB69 takes all of the goodies of the MTB62 and steps up to 26″ wheels and a frame geared towards 10-12 year olds with a minimum inside leg measurement of 27″.

Finally, the MTB72 builds on the MTB62 and MTB69, and is geared twoards kids 13+ with a minimum inside leg measurement of 28″.
