Garneau has created seven individual custom apparel designs for each member of the women’s Clif Pro Mountain Bike Team. Team members include Catharine Pendrel, Lea Davison, Maghalie Rochette, Eva Lechner, Haley Batten, Katerina Nash and Hannah Rae Finchamp.Garneau met with each member of the Clif Pro Team to create a unique custom kit that connects with their individual personalities. Two-time world champion and Olympic bronze medallist Catharine Pendrel’s kit features unicorns and rainbows. Two-time US Olympian Lea Davison’s kit gives praise to Beyoncé. Each rider has hidden a secret printed “gem” or icon in the back pocket of her jersey. These can be discovered at the Garneau booth at Sea Otter Classic.
On Friday April 20, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Garneau and Clif Bar will host a happy hour with the pro female riders of the Clif Pro Team. In addition, the public will be able to purchase their favorite Clif member’s kit on the spot.
The Clif Pro Team will compete in their customs kits for the first time at the Whiskey 50 race on April 27-29.
