The UCI has published the list of teams that have submitted an application to be registered as a UCI World Team or Professional Continental Team in 2019.
There are 18 vying for UCI World Team spots. No real surprises there, with the only difference being the BMC Racing Team in it’s new life as CCC Team.

There are 22 teams applying for registration in the Professional Continental division. There are two new entries in this class: the Corendon-Circus & Riwal Cycling teams. Not on the list is the recently announced Floyd’s of Leadville squad that will be backed by former pro and Lance Armstrong whistle blower Floyd Landis.
