WolfTooth Components is sharing the latest products from their collaboration with Cane Creek. These nickel-plated chainrings were designed to look great with Cane Creek eeWings, the legendary titanium cranks from their friends in Fletcher, North Carolina.
The new chainrings are available in 32T and 34T round, as well as 32T elliptical and they are currently the only chainrings that allow you to use eeWings cranks with the new Shimano 12-speed chain.
WolfTooth engineers carefully analyzed the Shimano XTR, XT, and SLX 12-speed HYPERGLIDE+ chain to develop a completely new tooth profile, which provides optimal chain retention and durability. This proprietary tooth profile maintains the smooth, quiet performance of the HYPERGLIDE+ drivetrain, while preventing the premature wear and tear that can come with non-optimized chainring tooth profiles.
The collaboration with Cane Creek creates an additional option for running a new style of chainrings compatible with eeWings. And though these chainrings were designed with Cane Creek eeWings in mind, they also look and work great with SRAM direct mount cranks.
